Chief of Pensanom in the Amenfi Central decries poor educational infrastructure
The Chief of Pensanom in the Wassa Amenfi Central, Nana Twumasi Ammpaakwa III, is appealing to government, philanthropists and other stakeholders to support the construction of a school block to improve education in the community.

According to the Chief, the only school serving the community lacks proper classroom blocks, furniture and other essential learning materials.
Speaking to the media, Nana Ammpaakwa explained that pupils from Kindergarten to Upper Primary currently study in a dilapidated wooden structure, which makes teaching and learning very uncomfortable.
He stressed that education remains the bedrock of development and therefore called on authorities and well-meaning individuals to come to the aid of the community.

Meanwhile, the Okyeame of Pensanom, Nana Mensah, commended the Chief and the PTA for their contributions toward the development of education in the area.
He also appealed to the Ghana Education Service and other stakeholders to provide the necessary support to help improve teaching and learning in the community.
