GIPC Revises 2026 Fees: What Investors Will Pay to Do Business in Ghana
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has announced revised fees and charges for the registration and regulation of businesses operating in Ghana, a move that will affect both new investors and existing enterprises seeking approvals.
The new fees take effect from February 2, 2026, in line with the GIPC Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. The revisions are expected to reshape the cost structure for foreign-owned and joint-venture enterprises looking to establish, expand or regularise their operations in the country.
GIPC has also clarified that all service fees are non-refundable and subject to review by the Centre without prior notice, underscoring the need for businesses to factor regulatory costs into their investment planning.
The fee adjustments come as Ghana seeks to attract sustainable foreign direct investment while strengthening compliance, oversight and efficiency within its investment framework.
