EKMA boss donates GH¢5,000 to support Sekondi XI Wise
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly has donated GH¢5,000 to support the activities of Sekondi XI Wise Football Club.
The donation was presented to the team and its officials at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi.
Presenting the amount on behalf of the MCE, the Public Relations Officer of the Assembly, Mr. Nat Andoh, reaffirmed the Chief Executive’s continued support for the club. He assured the players and management of the MCE’s commitment to the growth and success of Sekondi XI Wise, noting that the Assembly recognizes the vital role sports play in youth development and community engagement.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the club, the Chief Executive Officer of Sekondi XI Wise, Mr. Alfred Yamoah, popularly known as Lasso, expressed profound gratitude to the MCE for the generous gesture. He assured that the funds would be put to judicious use to advance the club’s operations and performance.
Mr. Yamoah further called on other individuals and corporate institutions to emulate the MCE’s example by extending support to the club to help strengthen football development within the municipality.
